Your Historic Wedding Day at The Gatewood
Built in 1908 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, celebrate in La Grange, KY just 15 minutes outside of Louisville. The Gatewood has been masterfully renovated to create one of the most elegant event spaces in the region.
Why Choose The Gatewood?
-
Timeless Charm.
You can’t recreate history. Our 1908 building in downtown La Grange offers historic charm that’s hard to replicate. Over 20 crystal chandeliers hang from hand-painted tin ceilings, not to mention exposed brick walls and elegant decor.
-
Intimate Elegance and Exclusive Experiences.
We aren’t a newly constructed blank canvas or large barn space. With over 4,000 square feet, we host up to 125 guests on our main floor, with our average wedding ranging from 50-100 guests.
Our venue is cozy and filled with character; where every details feels personal and tailored to your vision.
-
Small Town Feel, Large City Access.
Close enough for convenience and easily accessible for you and your guests, but far enough away to enjoy the historic downtown that La Grange offers.
You get the charm of a small town with all the amenities and vendors available in a large city like Louisville.
-
Flexible Options Based on Individual Needs.
Whether you envision a lavish celebration or an intimate gathering, our venue accommodates all types of style.
Our pricing is transparent, eliminating stress and hidden costs that you don’t deserve to navigate on such an important day.
